Dr. HASEENA BEEGUM THATTARASSERY is currently working as an Assistant Professor in Arabic Language & Literature area at MES Mampad College. She holds a Ph.D. degree in Arabic from Farooq College (Calicut University) Kerala, India. She has around 12 years of experience in research and teaching. Her areas of teaching interest include Translation, Linguistics and Rhetorics, New Trends and Movements in Arabic Literature etc. Her research areas are Journalistc Arabic, Modern Arabic Literature, Classical Arabic Literature, Fiction Literature etc. She has full-time Six years of research experience as Research Scholar from the Department of Arabic of Farooq College. She is a UGC Certified Trainer of ‘Sensitivity Awareness and Motivation’Workshop for Women Academicians in Higher Education and member of PG Board of Studies Committee of Sree Narayana Guru Open University. She has published 13 research papers in refereed national and international Journals including UGC care list like ‘ Kalikooth’,‘ Baasul Islami’, and International Journal like Majallah Dirasathun Arabiyya from Algeria. Besides, she has presented several papers in international and national level conferences.
